Getting it done

We harvested our salad and beetroot today!

This week's to-do-list was challenging but we managed to plant, move ground and cover ground.

The fencing for the granadillas is in and the leaves are securely positioned on the wire. The plan is that they will make a thick hedge that will serve as a windbreaker for the pomegranates.

We started with propagating some of the fig variaties this week. I learned to do air layering for the first time.

Compost, compost and more compost! Space - more space. We hired a TLB to clear our new compost area and soon we will be able to make compost in a larger area. This also allows the garden services to offload in a more convenient space.
