These men; from the left (Matthew, David, Andre, Barend, Ronnie and Andrew) helped us cut and prepare 3 meter sticks that we will cut into 1.5 meter stakes to mark out "This Land". We are preparing to mark out where the 108 trees for the wind break will go and the layout of the access roads and the next pond.
A stake is a small piece of wood or timber, sharpened at one end and set in the ground, or prepared for setting, as a support to something. Thus stakes are used to support vines, to support fences, hedges and the like.
This is a crucial next step in our process with the garden layout and for our next step of Faith we need to take.
Enlarge the place of your tent, And let them stretch out the curtains of your dwellings; Do not spare; Lengthen your cords, And strengthen your stakes. —ISAIAH 54:2
Enlarging the place of your tent means making room for some new people in your life. People will s-t-r-e-t-c-h you! Relationships with people will stretch your nerves, stretch your patience and stretch your prayer life. If you want more, then God is saying, “enlarge and stretch.” You will never see a miracle until you stretch your faith.
When God tells you to lengthen your cords, it means lengthen your reach. Wider tents require longer cords to keep them securely held in place. Once you lengthen your cords you must also strengthen your stakes, driving them deeper into the bedrock of God’s truth. Life is like a huge tree. The more the branches spread, the deeper the roots must grow.
So great to see all the extra hands!!! Wonderful about 108 trees!
Ps 108:4-5 "For great is Your love, higher than the heavens;
Your faithfulness reaches to the skies.
Be exalted, O God, above the heavens;
let Your glory be over all the earth."
