It was a week filled with tomatoes, two people being equipped to go and beautiful flowers.
We planted 4 beds of tomatoes this week to help our friends in the restaurant industry to stock up for the tourist season. Fresh tomatoes, 36 tomatoes for tomato sauce, chakalaka, paste and so much more.
I wonder why they would name a tomato a "money maker " but I am yet to find out.
We secured some poles and blue line to help the tomatoes establish in our windy area.
Daniel and Megan are planning to go to India in December with the Global Challenge Short term team. They are part of a team of 8 that will help the community with specific needs. Daniel and Megan will help with the composting. They spent the morning with us learning how to make compost.
Lastly we planted beautiful iceberg roses along the fence today and we will be adding companion plants and flowers next week to create a guild.
